Objectifs

Apporter aux étudiants les notions de base en toxicologie : mécanismes généraux de toxicité, principaux organes cibles et agents toxiques, traitement des intoxications, méthodes d’évaluation de la toxicité.

Description

L’enseignement comprend 40 h de cours. Toutes les présentations sont mises à la disposition des étudiants sous format pdf.

La ventilation des heures est la suivante :

– toxicologie générale (15h) : toxicocinétique, mécanismes d’action toxique, cancérogenèse, traitement des intoxications, études non cliniques …

– principales pathologies d’organes d’origine toxique (12 h) : hépatotoxicité, cardiotoxicité, néphrotoxicité, pneumotoxicité, hématotoxicité, neurotoxicité …

– exemples de toxiques(13h) : éthanol, paracétamol, méthanol, éthylène glycol, plomb, monoxyde de carbone, methémoglobinisants, rayonnements ionisants, benzène, organophosphorés …

Teaching includes 50 hours of classes in the form of lectures.  All presentations are made available to students in pdf format. The breakdown of hours is as follows :

– general toxicology (20h): toxicokinetics, mechanisms of toxic actions, carcinogenesis, treatment of poisoning, regulatory toxicology

– main pathologies of organs of toxic origin (15h): hepatotoxicity, cardiotoxicity, nephrotoxicity, pneumotoxicity, hematotoxicity, neurotoxicity

– main toxicants (15h): ethanol, acetaminophen, salicylates, methanol, ethylene glycol, lead, carbon monoxide, methaemoglobinants, ionizing radiation, benzene, antidepressants, digitalis, venoms, …
